A native of Massachusetts, Rod and his wife Terry call beautiful Round Hill their home. They have three grown kids: Josh is a pilot serving in the USAF and is married to Allison (with 3 little girls Audrey, Charlotte and Madeleine). Ben is a recent graduate of Patrick Henry College in Purcellville VA and is working in business analytics locally, and Emma is a graduate of JMU and is a history teacher in Harrisonburg. Rod and Terry enjoy living on a dirt road in the country, traveling near and far, shopping for antiques, and caring for the goats, cats, and Terry’s horse boarding business at Appleton Farm. Rod also directs the Patrick Henry College Chorale and the Maranatha Youth Music Academy Choir. He and Terry are also blessed to be a part of McLean Bible Church, Loudoun campus.
After 17 years as a Music Pastor in churches in California and Canada, Rod began his real estate career in 1997 in Orange County, CA before moving his family to western Loudoun County in 2005. Rod’s business is built on referrals, and his Centurion status is due to a reputation for honesty, straight answers, excellent service, and a commitment to follow through. An accredited relocation agent, and a Ramsey Trusted Realtor with the Dave Ramsey organization, he serves as both buyer/seller agent and is a member of NVAR and the National Association of Realtors.
Rod will encourage his clients to do what is in their best interests, even if it does not result in a sale for him at all. If you want a slick salesman, Rod is not your man. But if you want an experienced, detail-oriented agent who listens, makes a plan, and then acts on it, give Rod a call.
