About Huda

Let’s face it: Buying a home is the most important decision you’ll ever make. For that matter, so is selling your home. I have been in real estate my whole life. When I moved here from India in 1976, my mother was a successful realtor in the Washington, DC area, and so the interest was sparked. I first became a realtor in the early 90’s when prices were much lower, and interest rates were much higher. Things have changed since then, especially with the advent of online shopping for your home.

I took a few years off to raise my three daughters, pursue my passion for teaching (both my parents were educators by training), and make several moves myself! In choosing a realtor, knowledge is key, coupled with chemistry and understanding, to work towards your goals, both long-term and short-term. I have expertise in buying, selling, investing, preparing a less-than-stellar home for the market, bringing in professional opinions to make that less-than-perfect home (that you “must” buy) into your personal palace, and most of all, having contacts for any person who is needed to make the transaction smooth and stress-free.

I have lived in all three jurisdictions–DC, MD, and VA–in the past 42 years, so naturally, I am licensed in DC, MD, and VA! I know the area —from urban life to rural life, and everything in between. I know the regions, the communities, the military bases, the commutes, the parks, the school systems, the shopping, the entertainment, and the areas for simply relaxing.
