Erin Mendenhall was born and raised in Northern Virginia. As a real estate agent licensed in Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland, Erin dedicates her life to helping others, and endeavors to leave a lasting impact on all those she encounters in the metropolitan community.
Local expertise uniquely qualifies Erin to counsel her clients on conducting real estate transactions with the goal of improving financial wellbeing. Over 30 years of sales and business experience enable her to negotiate a successful outcome for her clients. With over 99% of her business coming from personal recommendations, her success rate and reputation is without question. She launched her business in April 2006 and won Rookie of the Year for home sales production. Since then, in nearly two decades of real estate, Erin has been earned top honors of sales achievement and leadership every year.
Erin has a strong passion for helping the senior community and focuses on helping this special generation with the home selling and transitioning process. Erin achieved her SRES designation in 2019 and has since devoted her time to helping families plan and prepare their family estate for sale. Erin collaborates seamlessly with attorneys, trustees, and executors, demonstrating her competence and efficiency in managing all aspects of the estate sale process.
Adeptly utilizing her connections with local and national retirement communities, and “rightsizing” companies, Erin compassionately guides seniors who are transitioning to adult lifestyle living, and assisted care centers. The Mendenhall Properties Elder Specialists team includes services such as decluttering, home repairs, estate sales, and moving coordination, which can also include set-up in a new home. Erin and her associates strive to make each move stress-free and as simple as possible!
Erin is dedicated to serving others in the Arlington community. She is a former board member of Path Forward, and helped establish the first Housing Homeless Shelter in Arlington County, advocating for the unhoused. Erin also volunteers in the Senior program of Arlington County. Furthering her commitment to the community, Erin developed the first Affinity Real Estate Program for Marymount University Alumni in 2016. Additionally, in January 2019, she launched a new Real Estate Advantage Home Program for first responders in Arlington.
Demonstration of Erin’s strong belief in mentoring is shown through volunteer work with Leadership Arlington. Following her graduation from Leadership Arlington in 2010, Erin helped the organization develop an initiative to train young professionals serving in Arlington. She is a founding member of the Young Executive Society for the Tower Club. She is also a current board member of the Optimist Club of Arlington, dedicated to “bringing out the best in kids” through numerous programs.
Erin’s lifelong and varied involvement in her community highlights her goals of enriching and having a positive impact on those around her!
