Each of these individuals have made long-term commitments to the continued success of NM and we are all excited about what the future holds.” Company President and co-Owner Mary Lynn Stone added that “A significant piece of the success we’ve experienced can be tied directly to the quality and character of our leadership team. They’re the best in the business…hands down.” Earlier this year, Jason Carrier, former McLean, VA, Branch Leader became the Executive Vice President (EVP) for Growth and has focused on growth for all of NM- real estate and core services.
Three current Branch Leaders are among those with EVP responsibilities: Jeff Hetherington, Centreville, will oversee Operations to include validation of company-wide training programs and timely execution of the organization’s calendaring. As EVP for Services and Standards, Tommy Higgins, who leads both the La Plata and Waldorf, MD branches, will ensure NM standards and culture for professionalism and exceptional quality service are maintained throughout the organization’s multiple locations. NM Principal Broker, Herb Lisjak, Gainesville, will work closely with supervising brokers in the areas of real estate law and core services training. He will also provide assistance to staff as needed with reporting and transaction database management. NM’s Director of Business Development and Relocation Services, Scott Becker, will become EVP for Business Development with a larger focus and impact on leads generation from both within and outside the organization. Todd Hetherington stressed that the company’s steady growth has made these role expansions essential and this is simply “putting the right people in the right positions to keep us strong going forward.”
