I have been proudly living, studying, and working in the D.C./Maryland area since 2001. My mission is to serve my clients – military members and their families, first-time and move-up home buyers, as well as investors – and help find you own your own piece of home in the region.
I have had a career focused on service and education for the community. Originally born in Wisconsin, I graduated with a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park (Go Terps!). I currently live with my wife and family in the lovely community of Hyattsville, Md., where we moved from Mount Rainier, and before that Brookland, D.C.
In addition to being a real estate agent, I serve my community by teaching part-time as a professor of philosophy at Prince George’s Community College. I have also taught at other regional institutions including the University of Maryland, George Washington University, George Mason University, and Virginia Tech. My family and I love living in Prince George’s County and all that it and the D.C. Metropolitan Area have to offer. We are both big sports fans, attending Redskins, Capitals, and D.C. United games frequently. We also enjoy the museums and fantastic array of cultural resources in the area. In addition, the region boasts great resources for lovers of the outdoors, which we are. We like biking area trails, hiking nearby forests, and exploring all of the local parkland. With every season there is something new to do. When I am not taking the time to enjoy the area, my greatest love is traveling, gathering experiences such as hiking the Inca Trail in Peru, touring the Highlands of Scotland, sitting on the beaches of the Greek Isles, or even spending a summer working on organic farms in Italy. Speaking of which, gardening too is one of my passions, improving my home with natural beauty and bounty.
My mission is to do everything I can to help people find their dream home, whether it be through buying, selling, or renting. All this I strive to do with knowledge, integrity, and passion.
