I was given a long list of potential brokers. All of which responded to my calls and e-mails in professional, but ultim ately cold and disinterested manners. My husband and I saw Wendy's sign while we walked through a neighborhood that we liked, and gave her a call on a whim. She was personable and to the point. By the next day, she had several houses in our range organized for us to view. She was available and kept the pressure on us to actively look for what we wanted in a home. Wendy is the one who found the house we ultimately bought. Weeks from closing, when we found out that the loan office we initially applied through was milking us, Wendy kept our Escrow protected. I have looked at other agents, the reason I chose Mrs. Downs, is because I dealt with her on my rental, she is very pers onal, caring, and treated me like I was one of her own family members. She looked out for me, and got more angry when the Lender was not doing what she knew they were supposed to be doing, like being one step ahead of the game. I would definitely and already did recommend Mrs. Downs to other co-workers, family and friends. Mrs. Downs cares and puts herself in the seller's shoes, and that is what makes her an Outstanding Realtor. Mrs. Downs goes over and beyond when she came all the way to the Settlement's Business to be able to close me, she sat with me till midnight even when she was under the weather, until I received that key in my hand. Mrs.Downs is the reason now that I am looking into being a Realtor as well. All I can say she went over and beyond to get myself and family into our first time home, she even opened the house when I had to go out of town, and had no one for the furniture delivery people to deliver my daughter's furniture, she was there even after the closing.
