I am a lifelong Maryland resident. I was born and raised in beautiful Western Maryland (Cumberland) and have resided in Poolesville, Md. (home of the No. 1 public school cluster in Maryland and No. 44 nationwide) since 1974.
I acquired my Maryland Real Estate License in 1977. For 13 years, I practiced real estate sales part time while I was employed by Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). I was a teaching member of a highly skilled team comprised of educators and therapists in the “Preschool Education Program,” a special education program developed for children (from birth to 5 years) with multiple cognitive and/or physical needs.
In 1990, I became a full-time real estate professional. For six years, I held sales manager positions for several local and national home builders in the Washington, D.C. area.
