Lucy entered the real estate profession in 1999, after a lucrative career in the information technology field in Washington, D.C. Lucy brings with her more than 30 years of business experience in sales, marketing, business development and project management. In 2003, Lucy teamed up with Karen Alford Brooks and The Brooks and Barbour Team was established. As a team, they offer the “Dynamic Power of Two” and provide clients with knowledge, expertise and results. The Brooks and Barbour Team has achieved the highest awards within the CENTURY 21 system, including the coveted Grand Centurion award.

I had lived in the area for over twenty years. Observed that Lucy Barbour had been a "Top Producer" for Century 21 a num ber of times. When I first contacted Lucy regarding the sale of our home my sense was she was a professional, well organized, and thoughtful about how to market our home. She also did not "oversell" her capabilities, she is a realist.
Our home sold in a matter of days from my initial meetng with Lucy. Photos were taken and a marketing video of exceptional quality was made immediately following our meeting. It is my understanding that the video was not even on the MLS listing before there was a serious buyer. Lucy listened to what our price objective was, was in constant contact and provided status as the sale moved forward. She was thorough in her plan to complete the sale and always available to answer questions and provide guidance. The MLS listing was beautifully presented, so much so that we shared it with family and friends.
