Lisa absolutely loves working in the local community. Her favorite part of owning a local business is giving back to the community. Lisa established a program through her family’s retail store called, “Carousel Clothing Cares for Our Community.” Each month, a different local nonprofit is selected to receive proceeds from special sales the store designates. Some of the many charities which have received donations include: Hospice of Charles County, LifeStyles of Maryland, Sagepoint Senior Living Services, Christmas in April of Prince George’s County, Children’s Aid Society of Charles County and the Southern Maryland Carousel Group.
Outside of the workplace, Lisa is involved with local organizations, as well. She is honored to be a member of the La Plata Rotary Club which provides community service to both local and international communities. It gives members the chance to “do something for someone else.” The La Plata Rotary Club provides approximately $70,000 per year in a variety of scholarships and donations to local charities. Lisa also enjoys being a member of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce. Here, she interacts with other business partners in the area to help support our local economy.
Lisa resides in La Plata with her husband and their twins who currently attend the College of Southern Maryland. Lisa understands your busy lifestyle and will provide you and your family with the assistance you need.
