Lisa absolutely loves working in the local community.  She has established an initiative called, “Cares for Our Community.”  This is how it works: Each month, there is a designated local business. She does her best to “drive” extra traffic to that business to make a charitable $5.00 donation. The business will offer a small discount or free gift to the client in appreciation for participating. Each donation earns the donor a chance to win. At the end of the month, there will be a drawing. The winner will win both a gift card from the business of the month and also rights to select their “Charity of Choice”. That charity will receive all of the money collected for the month at the designated business.  This is a Win-Win-Win!

Lisa is also involved with several local organizations, as well. She is honored to be a member of the La Plata Rotary Club which provides community service to both local and international communities. It gives members the chance to put “Service Above Self.”  The La Plata Rotary Club provides approximately $70,000 per year in a variety of scholarships and donations to local charities. Lisa also enjoys being a member of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce.  Here, she serves on the membership committee and interacts with other business partners in the area to help support our local economy.  The Southern Maryland Women’s League is another organization Lisa is a member of.  Once again, that group donates a variety of Scholarships and Grant to those in need.
