I have been listing and selling real estate since 2003. I was so eager to start my career in real estate that as soon as I passed my test, I drove straight to a real estate office to start asking questions. I joined Century 21 that year and have been with them ever since.
I was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and later moved to Prince George’s County mid-high school. I believe this gives me a distinct advantage over many agents who migrate to this area from other states. I am very familiar with the Washington Metropolitan area. Also, I pride myself on education. Therefore, I immediately sought out as much education on real estate that I could very early on in my real estate career. I have attended countless seminars, conferences and webinars to hone my craft. I attained the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI designations to separate myself from other agents. I am a numbers person by gift. Prior to joining the real estate world, I was—and still am—an accountant. This gives me the ability to understand the various financial aspects of real estate to better position my clients for success when using a loan to purchase a home.
I am a full-service agent, licensed in DC, MD and VA, with a proven track record. I specialize in meeting the needs of our service people in the military, first-time home buyers, those that are relocating and many more. I also have experience with short sales, estate sales and transactions that require coinciding settlements.
You need someone who knows this area inside and out! I can work with you to find the right home at the right price for you, including all the neighborhood amenities that matter – not to mention the essential criteria you have for your ideal home.
When it’s time to move, you need someone who will advertise your home, show to prospective buyers, negotiate the purchase contract, arrange financing, oversee the inspections, handle all necessary paperwork and supervise the closing. I can take care of everything you need, from start to close.
Often, buyers don’t visualize living in your home the way you do. I can make your home attractive to its ideal audience – which can help you get top dollar. Things like staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home resting on the market and one that’s sold fast.
