A journey of a thousand miles begins with one small step.   This has been something that I have lived by and continue to follow.

As a Calvert native, I’ve witnessed its transformation.  My intimate knowledge of this region, and my experiences of having lived here all my life give me enthusiasm and a desire to make my home, your home.  Although I was born in raised here, I have had the opportunity to travel and understand the diversity of people and how best to accommodate individuals and families from all over the country.  Being a veteran spouse, and coming from a long line of military veterans, I understand the stress of moving! My husband is a retired Army Ranger and recipient of a Purple Heart.  My mother’s an Air Force veteran, my grandfathers were Navy and Army veterans, an Aunt an Army veteran, and my Uncle was a War honored Marine.

My name is Jackie Witherow-Turnboo and I was born and raised in Calvert County.  I attended Mt. Harmony and Windy Hill Elementary, Northern Middle, and graduated a year early from Northern High School in 2005.  As soon as I graduated, I attended Towson University until 2007.  I transferred to UMGC (formerly UMUC) and obtained my Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice.  Since I love a challenge, I went back to UMGC for another Bachelor of Art in Social Science. Several years ago I went back to college and obtained my Associate of Art in Paralegal Studies.  After buying my first home at the age of 21, it inspired my passion for real estate.  We currently have rental properties, as well as our home in Huntingtown.

I am married to my amazing husband Steve, also a licensed Maryland Realtor, and we have 5 children: Bryce, Sophia, Gage, Maddie & AJ.  I have two rescue dogs, Gracie & Moe.  When I’m not assisting my real estate clients, we spend our time traveling to visit Gage in Alabama, camping, dance class, and enjoying time out on the bay on our sailboat.

As a Realtor, my priority is to make my clients happy and treat them as if I were in their shoes. I listen to my clients’ wants and needs to achieve the best outcome in every transaction and I strive to ensure that the home buying or selling process is fun, easy and stress-free. My clients can count on me any time of day when they have a question or concern.  I strive to provide high-quality, personalized service to each and every person I work with.
